Cynthia Lockwood is a passionate photographer with a deep love and appreciation for all things nature.  She enjoys the solitude that nature photography requires but delights in sharing her photos and encouraging others to recognize the beauty that surrounds them and the peace that it brings.  She frequently visits national wildlife refuges, state parks in Texas and surrounding states and the Gulf Coast to capture unique images of nature.  Her photos have been published in Birds & Blooms and Country magazines and in a pocket field guide by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
